Every table feels almost like chefs table it offers very open space and a view into the inside of the kitchen. It’s not messy but rather felt a bit chaotic around. For Ramen lovers- you will enjoy this unique take on Ramen, for Vegans- this might be your new favorite place, for someone who is looking forward to a brothy, veggie filled Ramen- you might be disappointed, it’s by no means traditional way of having Ramen as 3 options on the menu come with thick creamy sauce and one Ramen (in the picture) comes with rich and thick broth/sauce liquid. We still found the ratio of liquid and noodles a bit off thus it more felt like “Ramen curry?!”. The taste/textures were executed very well and flavors, spice, texture danced together in a perfect balance, however it didn’t feel Ramen but rather sophisticated alternative! We timed our Ramen arrival just for fun and on a Sunday evening 2 bowls came in after 17minutes of ordering and 2 more came 3 minutes later.

It was my first visit and the place didn’t disappoint. My kimchi AMAZE MEN was incredible, a wonderful blend of flavors. My friend had the Spicy version and really enjoyed it as well. We also ordered Takoyaki on the side - they were tasty however not something I’ll be coming back for. They were slightly burnt as well which probably impacted the flavor. Matcha was great, probably one of the best ones I’ve had in Amsterdam. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they are happy to explain the concept and help you choose from many great noodle options (soupy, saucy or for dipping). The restaurant gets a bit loud and crowded, so it’s more of an “eat and go” type of place. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely be back to try more things on the menu!

A simple, but authentic ramen spot with a good vibe. And I have to say their vegan ramen truly impressed me. I’ve never had so good vegetarian/vegan ramen before. The taste, flavor, and broth thickness are just perfect, and the noodles are excellent as well. Honestly, this ramen holds its own against non-vegan versions (and as someone who isn’t vegan or vegetarian, I feel confident making that comparison). If there’s one thing I’d improve it’s the protein content. The miso ramen had a bit of soy (I think), but the dry one had none at all. Other than that, it’s amazing. Don’t miss it!

I walked in and joined the line behind a few people. Shortly after, someone queued up behind me. A staff member approached and asked if I wanted to dine in. I said yes and mentioned I was dining alone. He then asked me to wait outside on the bench and walked me there.

To my surprise, within minutes I saw other guests (two) walk in and being seated right away and even the solo diner who had been behind me in line was seated. Meanwhile, I was still outside waiting for no clear reason.

After a quick moment of disbelief, I walked back inside and approached the employee to ask what was going on. The response I got was simply, ‘yeah you can sit there’ pointing to a now empty table. I left because the way I was treated felt extremely strange and frankly quite disrespectful. If i didnt come inside myself, they wouldve just let me wait outside for god knows how long.

Shame I couldn’t taste the ramen, but the disrespectful service already gave me a bad taste. I will not try again. Restaurants should understand that service is also part of a good restaurant and not...

Honestly, this place makes me so intensely happy! I've tried every item on the menu and have never been disappointed, everything's delicious (: I'm not much of a reviewer but I figured this place deserves my recommendation!!!

When I was released from hospital after surgery this summer, this is the place I went to, the soupless ramen being the only food I wanted! The guys were so lovely and even brought me a box to rest my arm (which was in a cast from shoulder to fingers in a 90 degree angle) on while eating. Thank you so much guys!

(Also great for takeout - tastes almost as good at home! Aaaannd the spicy ramen is actually quite spicy, unlike many other vegan ramen options in this city... so that's another plus!)

Long story short: make sure to bring all your friends and eat here as often...
