Disappointment of the year. First of all not even remotely a Japanese restaurant but more so fusion asian. The food is a perfect mix of pre-made dishes from Shilla meets Albert Hein. Shilla is the Korean Japanese deli in Zuid for those who don't know. The dumplings and other steamed dishes are literally the ones my kids buy at Shilla out of the freezer. But the prices are the same of Momo and Izakaia. I mean how can a restaurant that rates more than 4 on google maps with 250+ reviews be so bad and so disappointing?? The answer is rather simple... most of the guests are not foodies but simply visitors from the Rai expo center eating on the corporate CC. Staff on the other hand is pleasant and service is fast (due to the food being pre-prepared). So if you are a foodie and want a quality Japanese inspired restaurant please avoid this place. There are plenty of good Japanese restaurants including one just across the streets that's...

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the sushi? Always fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor. It’s not just the food that keeps us coming back, though. The owner is a true gentleman — friendly, passionate about what he does, and it turns out we even share the same taste not only in sushi but also in watches! 😉
If you’re a sushi lover or simply appreciate quality and great service, I highly recommend giving Nanbu a try. It deserves all the...

Makis were falling apart because the rice was not sticky enough, and the roll was uneven so one side hardly had rice compared to the other, but it also had too much rice that you could not taste the Alaskan snow crab that was supposedly in it at all. The sashimi was incorrectly cut, from the worst part of the fish, did not taste fresh, and to top it off, the white radish they served with it on the side was spoiled! The waiter was at least gracious enough to understand when we sent that back. All in all, a waste of...
