New York Pizza — Restaurant in Amsterdam

The floor was dirty while it was only myself, my girlfriend and 2 other people inside. The staff were more interested in using their phones than making sure the dining area was clean and presentable. one female member of staff did not look up from her phone while we were there. The male member of staff was controlling the music which was not family friendly.

Service while receiving food was not good. Food was only placed on the table with no words. It felt as though we were Inconveniencing the staff to be eating here.

Overall the staff were not willing to interact with customers and would rather be on their phones. Cleanliness is sub par.

I had bad costumer experience which left me disappointed with this place, from which I have tried to buy pizza TWICE, and was let down Twice. First time I went there was on a Wednesday night, around 10:15pm and they were already closed even though it says both online and on their front page that they close at 11pm. Second time going there to buy a whole pizza and staff rudely told me they had no more pizza dough left at 9:30pm while trying to sell me the old pizza slices on display. So I went to the other New York pizza store that is less than 350 meters away to receive a very welcoming service and delicious pizza. Not coming back at all...

I have been to New york pizza before and they are not bad, if you want to order takeaway from this however, do not do it through Ubereats as I did. They have a problem with taking orders from Ubereats because of the format of post code of my address, I waited for 2 hours, called directly at the restaurant a few times, all I got were standard robitic answers telling me that the order would come soon, but eventually found out that the order was not actually made. I believe it was mostly a problem with Ubereats, but both parties just ignore...
