I’ve liked this place as it’s right on the water, they have a nice aperol spritz and bites, and service was friendly before.
Unfortunately, the last time I came with my girlfriend on a really hot day and asked about a table under the shade we were told by a waiter that he didn’t have any tables for us under the shade and pointed us a table in the sun. Before we could even decide he walked away from us. After a couple of minutes another waitress came up and asked where we’d like to sit. We once again asked if a table under the umbrella was possible. Not only was there a table available, but there were about 4 tables available! We told the waitress what happened and she looked stunned and mentioned that it was really weird of the other waiter because there were plenty of seats. Not sure why we were turned away so quickly without even checking, and, how can you miss 4 empty tables when you’re waiting/seating guests..? Definitely not a nice experience and we left after having one drink. Please train the staff (or just this one guy better).. everyone else seemed nice so I hope this was just a one time incident and doesn’t reflect the...
Read moreI had high expectations from this place and I called in advance to make sure they have veg options as I am vegan. When I asked the waiter if he could make the nasi goreng vegan he said it is possible but it would take way too much effort and time? And in the mean time he made sure to tell us 10 times that we need to be done eating at 5.30 as there was a storm. Then I ordered another vegan dish and it was not available. Then I had another dish, twice as expensive and it was to be very honest just gross. I love Indonesian food but the dish I had was didn't have any flavor and it was just big unseasoned chunks of tempeh and jackfruit. My brother took the regular rendang and said it wasn't good either. We left almost all the food and the guy didn't even bother to ask us anything. There are so many more affordable way tastier Indonesian places in this city, not recommend this place...
Read moreWe went there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and we were quite disappointed with the food and their service. Our starters were good but we ordered nasi lemak and jackfruit curry, the rice was literally not cooked, we can clearly see the raw rice and when we inform the waitress about the rice, she went inside the kitchen and bought the same bowl and said that rice cooker was spoiled and they mixed the raw rice with the cooked rice and they have only this and she told us that either we eat or just leave it’s our choice. That is the rude answer that we got after spending 100+ euros on our dinner. There might be some problem in the kitchen we can understand but the way they responded is not acceptable. Definitely they are not giving us or donating free food to us. We are paying for it and they are not even apologetic for their mistake. Definitely not going to...
