Place looks nice with pretty interior. When we went there on a Saturday morning it was about the best thing about the place. You sit very close to all other people, with barely space to walk to your spot. Coffees were decent, food ok but not great, especially as some of the promised ingredients were missing. Would have all still be enough for 4 stars. BUT then it happened. We had ordered a pumpkin spice late which was mentioned under the freakshake section and was promised to come with whipped cream, cinamon, stroopwaffels (cookie) and some syrup on top. What we received was the sad example in my picture. Imagine receiving this when paying 8 euros for it! First, my sister (who is not that up front/direct) asked already if there was no mistake and was told that it was what we ordered. When I saw it, I immediately asked the waitress nearby and told her that it is not what we ordered. She first tried to also tell me that we received our order correctly, but I would not have it and asked where she sees cookies or whipped cream. With a sour face she asked for a moment and disappeared. Nothing happened for 15 minutes. So I again insisted that they should take away the beverage and bring us what we ordered. Then the same waitress pretended as if she would not remember and even had the nerve to ask me if I was sure that we did not order just a normal pumpkin spice latte without all the extras. A) Did that item not even exist on the menu and B) We luckily had a receipt confirming what we said. Finally, she realised that I won’t back down (while still being friendly all the time) and brought me after another 15 minutes sth that got close, but was still missing the syrup and cookies. Instead of saying sorry, she handed me the drink with a accusing and non-apologetic tone and took immediately off, pretending I was the one who was wrong in all this. Summary: Rude and unprofessional staff, average food in what would have the potential to be good. 2 out of 5 stars is nice for the...

This location had TERRIBLE customer service and a questionable hygiene policy. The bowls were very pretty and tasted good, but my friend found two bugs in her bowl and some dirty stuff on her fruit. She told a staff member and the staff said that was normal because they don't ever wash any of their fruit. This made all four of us quite shocked because we thought fruit and vegetables MUST be washed before being served, for hygienic reasons. Also, for such a tiny bowl, it was really, really expensive (9.90 euro - I handed over a 10 euro bill and the cashier didn't give me my change). I ate the bowl in under five minutes and was still absolutely starving after. I had ordered the mermaid bowl, but when I recieved it, I didn't have a mermaid tail in mine. The staff said they were out of tails and didn't offer anything in replacement. I asked if I could get some extra fruit or something in place of the tail and the staff said she'd bring up more fruit and then she disappeared and never brought up the fruit she had promised. And lastly, when we walked in, a staff member told us the seating area was full and that she couldn't seat us, but would take our names for a table. Fifteen minutes later, she still didn't seat us even though there were plenty of open seats by this time. Eventually we just had to seat ourselves. Overall, the customer service at this location was just awful, the food was unhygienic, and again, the bowls are very expensive for the size. It is unfortunate, because the shop and food is very aesthetic, but the four of us had a really poor dining experience. Really, the only good thing we got out of this experience was...

I was there today and came in. At the entrance there is a sign that says: wait to be seated! I waited, but saw that the waitresses were busy with guests and since several tables were free I thought oh i'll just sit down… they‘ve got things to do, i'll let them work…. Nothing bad in my mind doing so, rather wanted to take off some work of them but ok. So, after I sat down I was completely ignored by the two dutch waitresses - other guests were served, their tables cleaned. They left me sitting there without a word or look for good 10 minutes. Walked past my table, left it dirty, didn’t want to serve me. Obviously they never heard of friendliness in their life, also seeing how they talked to other guests during my time there. anyways... So I sat there and served my „punishment“ because I didn't obey their DOOR POLICY in a half-empty place and didn't wait for her highness to allocate me a seat! How could I 😂😂 and even if I did that, with no bad intentions - as a waitress you SHOULD greet me and can explain it to me in a friendly way and still serve me or not?! In Amsterdam one always has the feeling that waitresses are almost angry that they have to do their job and: serve guests…Luckily there was a waitress with dark brown hair and she was super sweet and friendly and noticed my situation. She served me very kindly and even apologized to me for the stupid behavior of her colleagues! I wish this girl all the best in life and I hope that she changes her job to not work anymore with such unfriendly, insecure cows that poison the energy in the whole cafe with their bad...

Such a cute and cozy place close to the center of Amsterdam, they have quite a few chairs to sit both inside and outside, the staff were nice and friendly and our food was ready quite quickly and tasted really good! We tried the chicken and avocado on sourdough and the French toast, both very very delicious. The chicken dish was very nice and tender, the French toast was super yummy with a white icing on top and lots of fruits. The matcha latte with strawberry foam is a must try. Tasted very very good.
