Finding a restaurant that can flawlessly accommodate a large party of 15, while simultaneously impressing every single guest, feels like discovering a hidden gem. The Oasis is precisely that kind of place, and our recent visit was nothing short of spectacular, earning them a well-deserved five stars. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was captivating. Nestled outdoors, under a canopy of twinkling lights, the setting was both elegant and relaxed. The gentle breeze and the vibrant energy of the live music created an ideal backdrop for our celebration. It was loud enough to be enjoyable and set a festive mood, but soft enough that we could still comfortably converse across our large table. Now, let's talk about the food. With such a diverse group, everyone had different cravings, but The Oasis's wide variety of food truly catered to all. From fresh seafood and perfectly grilled steaks to inventive vegetarian dishes and comforting classics, there wasn't a single item on the menu that didn't pique someone's interest. And the best part? Everything was delicious! Seriously, every single dish that arrived at our table was met with exclamations of delight. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were bold, and the presentation was impeccable. And what's a great meal without great drinks? The Oasis delivered on this front too. Their cocktail menu was extensive, offering both creative concoctions and classic favorites. More importantly, the drinks were good and potent, a definite crowd-pleaser for our group. The service was also top-notch, with attentive staff who handled our large order with efficiency and a friendly demeanor, ensuring our glasses were always full and our needs were met without feeling rushed. The Oasis isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. If you're looking for a place that combines fantastic food, potent drinks, an incredible outdoor ambiance, and lively entertainment, especially for a large group, look no further. We left feeling incredibly satisfied and are already planning...
Read moreFirst night in Curacao and checked restaurants and their reviews prior to coming for an authentic dining experience. Kaya 91 was beyond disappointing in every way possible. We had an 8pm reservation for 12. After waiting 20 minutes manager took our drink order. After an hour half of the table 6 people had their drinks and the other half was told ours were coming yet manager was very attentive to another table making sure their food was out and she poured their wine/water. Meanwhile other customer approach her disappointed about their food etc. Finally the other half of table got drinks and placed food order by this time it was 930p. 4-5 of us received the Tropical wings we ordered and the others still waiting. I had place my order for Tropical Wings with red beans and rice. I was completely finished with wings and 30 minutes later they brought the red beans and rice which I declined. Another family member ordered same wings with fries and after completely finished wings about 30 mimutes later she received fries. At this time manager was busy with running around doing whatever and sent 4 other persons to our table with empty words and no answers to what was happening to our food. Finally she sent Bar Manager ( Mariate) to fix what she cowardly could not and would not fo was face unhappy guest. Muriate the Bar Manager apologized for something she did not do but tried to fix mess the other manager created. It was as if the family she was attentive with was her family and stated round about way they are paying customers and so were we. It was all 12 of my families first time in Curacao and on the first night this was the worst. This restaurant deserve a 0. This was 4 July 2025 and when we arrived was not very busy. Never will return to Kaya 91. If you want ab experience please avoid...
Read moreI stumbled upon this restaurant while walking through the Rif in Curacao. They have indoor and outdoor seating and during my first visit I sat indoors. The interior decoration is beyond beautiful. Decorative and eclectic, Modern and Clean. The service was fantastic. Staff was very attentive even in the mid afternoon. I ordered a cocktail named "Like a Boss" as a starter. A twist on an "Old Fashioned" and as a Bourbon and Whiskey drinker I must say this was an absolute 10/10! It was beautiful in its presentation arriving in a smoked glass cover...flavors of smoked whiskey and a layer of Malbec with a sweet foam on top. I was so amazed I clapped for the bartender for her incomparable masterpiece served in a glass. The food was also nothing short of delicious and made with perfection and obvious love. To start I had the shrimp tostones and to follow the Shrimp Tacos which were topped with cheese and torch melted at the table. Listen to me..... whomever orchestrated this establishment certainly had a vision and the vision was carefully thought out and executed on a master level. This place is a GEM! Falls short of nothing regardless of the hour you choose to dine. The place is GREAT to say the least....it was so good I went back for dinner. I'd eat here twice a week if I lived on the island...it's nothing short of what a great dinning experience should be. OUTSTANDING STAFF. OUTSTANDING AMBIANCE. OUTSTANDING FOOD & DRINK....A tried and TRUE experience!
