Café Wolthoorn & Co — Restaurant in Groningen

My team was a winner of the Odyssey Hackathon 2019. So as winners we are spent "drinks" time at this place. Main reason was to have a chat in informal condition with other winner's team members. And this place was absolutely beautiful to the goal. We spoke at lot. I met a very good bartender who was very friendly and told me the story of this place about how historic it is. Visited here as it was highlighted as one of the best bars in The Netherlands; a title it really deserves. A great selection of local and distant beers as well as spirits along with a decent selection of Genever with a barman that understands that we don't all want to drink ice cold Genever and therefore enjoy the true flavour. A must if visiting Groningen. P.S. They allow dogs and we all know bars are better...

Nice cozy atmosphere - a typical Dutch cafe which serves teas and coffees as well as beers and Scottish whiskey as well as of course the famous Groningse Jonge Jenever liquor. With good wifi and nice bar tender, I would thoroughly recommend the Wolthoorn on most nights of the week and for groups...
