I don’t think this restaurant deserves a star. It’s one of the horrendous restaurants out there, enough to make Gordon Ramsey swear!! The smell of the place is disgusting, it doesn’t smell of kimchi nor barbecue but a foul musty odor. A staff took our order in English, we ordered in English and I don’t think she understood our order. Obviously she didn’t pay attention. We returned our food 2x. Our food arrived stone cold, I can assure you that they have microwave. There is too much garnish when we requested off it. We asked if we could sit next to the window as we were the first customer in there, she said it was reserved the window seats are empty for the whole time we were there. She sat us at the busiest area where the door is too loud and people passing by. Then we ordered for coke light, a staff told us that they only have a Coke Zero and he educated us that coke light and Coke Zero are the same.. The tables are sticky and the music was wrong… if they say they are Korean restaurant they should have K-music and not the preferences it’of the staff working there. It was a horrible experience. This restaurant is bringing Korean shame to their country.
BEWARE!!!! I got Covid from this restaurant. Health and safety needs to visit you soon! I am sorry but I will never ever go back to this restaurant.
To the person whose answering the reviews, get you facts straight. I don’t know Josie Max, but we both agree that your restaurant...
Read moreReason for 3 stars below. We had KBBQ and started with a number of unmarinated beef and pork cuts. They were thick, tender and tasty! The first round of side dishes is included, to refill them you have to pay. Ssamjang and lettuce you can get refills or more servings of.
One very odd thing is that the staff do not change the grills, which is a very normal part of KBBQ. After the meat had cooked the grill has a bunch of soot and burnt bits on it so should be changed to a fresh grill, so the next lot of meat is not affected. Instead, the customer is given some ice cubes and told to clean it up themselves?! I think it’s bad customer service (not the waiter’s fault, I would hope) and obviously stingy on the restaurant’s part. With one of us being Korean and us having gone to a lot of KBBQ places in Korea and abroad, we have never heard of such a thing. I assume if we didn’t ask we wouldn’t be given the ice either, and if customers are cooking on burnt grills it will lead to bad tasting meat or worst case getting sick too. So it’s not really in the restaurant’s best interest either. Anyway just some feedback and something to keep in mind when you visit this restaurant.
The waiters themselves were friendly and provided good service, no...
Read moreIf you want to experience a piece of Korean culture but don't have the funds to go holiday, this place is everything you need. I originally came here for the Korean BBQ, but stayed for the chimaek menu. We ordered one of the anju meals, and what an experience it was! You get to experience Korean drinking culture without having to leave the Netherlands. From soju bombs to phenomenal cocktails and drinking rice wine from pans, this place is truly an experience. It's matched with the most amazing chicken I've ever eaten. For anyone with a sweet tooth, honey butter will leave you craving for more, even after you are full. Even the desserts are unique and truly wonderful. Whether you are already a lover of Asian food and drinks, or someone curious to try, this place is amazing. Easily my favourite restaurant. Truly happy to have come across this place. Not to mention the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. If you are thinking of going here, you won't regret it! It's...
