What's there not to love about this place, which came highly recommended by foodie friends?

The open kitchen that's so small, one is astonished that all these wonderful dishes come from there.

The location at Spaarne river with terrace to see the world go by cycling or floating. We had the table at the window which is marvelous.

The white brigade that's so welcoming and bought into the vision of the chef, pairing it with the right wines.

All courses we choose were from the menu. The set menu also sounded amazing, but the maitre luckily sold me on the Secreto Iberico marbled shoulder of pork. As starter the sweetbreads…delicious and in nice small portions.

My wife picked the fish, tuna tataki and gilt, both also very on point with beautiful garnishes and flavors.

We're coming back! Probably with my whole...

The right ambiance (warm interior & appropriate lighting), friendly and attentive service, innovative cuisine with some nice Dutch touches and appropriately priced.....the key to success We selected the 3 course dinner(the starter of which was smoked beetroot/apple syrup/mustard seeds, the main course a very tender duck breast and a heavenly dessert with passionfruit coulis, further enhanced by some pre-dinner Dutch speciality "bitterballen" and an amuse bouche (offered by the restaurant) as well as cheese platter. All food was well presented and exquisite ! Our compliments to the chef, Jerome and his lovely partner who ensured we had a great dinner Definitely a venue recommended to those after an interesting culinary experience at great...

Overall, this place is worth to rate 3 stars ⭐️ = recommend to try if you are in the neighborhood area and not very sensitive to the price.

Food: 1 out of 2 stars ⭐️. We ordered the a la cart menu. The food was ok. Nothing very impressive. Maybe we should try the courses menu, hopefully we could get some surprises.

Service: 1 out of 1 star ⭐️. The waiters were very friendly.

Price: 0.5 out of 1 star ⭐️. It was a bit pricey if we didn't get the special offer from TheFork.

Location: 1 out of 1 star ⭐️. It’s easy to get there, by public transportation or by car. There is an affordable parking garage nearby (5 min...

What a surprise. We had the 4 course set menu. Each course was better than the last. The lamb was perfectly cooked. The dessert, an avocado semifredo with yogurt ice cream and lime marscapone….one of the best meals I have had anywhere. Flavorful, fresh, creative. Service was warm and friendly and perfectly paced. I suggest you try one of the set menus and let the chef surprise you. This was well worth it and a delightful experience for the $$ spent.
