The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was really great. The young waitresses also were delightful, friendly and polite. There were two spoilers however. First, the Dutch lady in charge, presumably the manager, was very rude to us. We had a booking of several guests and two extra people showed up unexpectedly. She put an extra table on the end to accommodate the two extra people, then shouted at us for not informing her earlier that the two extra guests were due. She was also rude again when we came to pay. I can't believe that such a person is in the hospitality business and I don't understand why she resents two extra customers. I mean, we paid for them!! They were not overcrowded so I don't get it. Second, we also had to wait three hours for the food!! (there was some breakdown in their system). Yes, three hours. We went here to dine in on some Thai cuisine. Some people told us not to go as the food would be subpar but we were craving Thai it so we tried our luck, it's asian cuisine what can go wrong?

And we were not dissapointed, the appetizers we got were perfect (maybe a bit too spicy for our Dutch mouths) but with a nice beer on the side very well done, especially the noodle salad was amazing.

Main dish we went for beef beef and beeeefff, and it was glorious, we had so much food we could barely finish our plates. We sat outside the rest of the night enjoying the view and the little boats and our drinks :)

It was a bit hard to book Buddha’s so we were waiting for this experience for a while. When we got there, the service was great! Very polite and smiley staff helped us throughout the night. The food portions were to my surprise very large, so you don’t have to worry about sharing a menu p.p. like in most places. We went for a 3 course meal and really enjoyed the salmon dish/ vegetarian dishes. The dessert was also nice, not as good as the starter/main dishes but it was a nice finish to the whole meal.
