Da Geppetto Pizzeria-Ristorante — Restaurant in Maastricht

came in for my special lady’s birthday dinner. she picked out this restaurant because she was in the mood for some cheeky italian food to celebrate her special day! we started off with a caraf of rose which we really enjoyed! the taste was a bit stronger, more resembling red wine with the aromas, we both enjoyed it very much and drank the whole thing 😍 the vegan options here are very limited however, i wish they had the option for some vegan cheese…they have pastas which i’m not sure are vegan or not, i did not have the chance to ask if the dough contains egg bur it’s something to look out for! i’m sure the kind italian gentlemen working there will be more than happy to assist you✌🏼i ended up just ordering a pizza margarita with no cheese which is always a bit embarrassing to order but oh well🤣my girlfriend got pasta with creamy cause and chicken which she thoroughly enjoyed! she did however find a suspicious hair in her food and approached the staff about. the conclusion was that is was her hair and not one of the staff members…we just accepted it. the vibes of the restaurant are very authentic and intimate. the staff is true italian men and it makes me feel like i’m back in tuscany sitting out on a terrace enjoying my...

First of all, I ordered a glass of tap beer. The waiter brought the beer, and then he realized there was a small piece of something, like dust, on the top of the glass. He took back the glass to the bar, and I was able to see what he was doing. Anyway, he put his finger in the glass, took the dust, and brought glass to me. I mean, how rude is this? If I didn't see what he had done, I probably drank the beer that waiter put the whole finger in it.

Secondly, they don't serve tap water. One of the waiters told me that the big boss does not allow them to bring tap water.

Food is average and the atmosphere is really bad. I didn't like it at all. Totally not...

Will definitely be going back! The cannelloni vegetariani is absolutely delicious. The staff are very nice and helpful. I went with a friend who has celiac/coeliac so she cannot eat gluten, and we were very (positively) surprised by how accommodating they were at the restaurant. They had gluten-free pasta and could make gluten free pizza. They also assured us that the pizza oven is always cleaned before making gluten free pizza and different equipment is used to make/handle it.
