I stopped by Al Mercato in Maastricht for dinner recently. In terms of food, I tried their Beef Carpaccio, Margarita Pizza, and Gnocchi (with pesto, shrimp, and burrata). I also had a glass of their (Negroamaro, Masseria Pietrosa, Puglio) wine. Overall, I’d give the meal: 8.3/10: Beef Carpaccio: 8.5/10: Nicely prepared beef carpaccio with the right (amount) of garnishing, etc.) Margarita Pizza: 7.5/10: Overall quite nice and worth trying.
