Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Philipsburg

Amazing coffee and food! The paninis are sooo good, the pesto is handmade, just the right amount of spice and they use so many different vegetables and inventive ingredients. The samosas are also super good combined with the pesto, the outside is just the right amount of flaky and chewy. The coconut cream latte (or steamed milk) is the best drink - made with real coconut cream and shredded coconut. The cinnamon bun latte has all kinds of different spices. The hazelnut flavoring they make in house and its the best I've ever tasted, so nutty. They roast their own coffee too. Free wifi and really cold AC, plenty of seating inside with some couches and a small amount of seating outside. There is no dedicated parking, you have to just find free parking off the street, seems like you can park on sidewalks as long as there is no no parking sign. That's what we've been doing for a couple weeks and no ticket so far... There is also a public parking lot for a fee off Cannegieter St about...

We visited Coffee Lounge a few times during our visit to Sint Maarten.

The ambience struck me as extremely tasteful and seemed inviting to people of all ages (I saw a few children hanging out in school uniforms in the afternoon, chilling in the air conditioned lounge).

Besides, the atmosphere was relaxing and we had the the best cup of coffee in the island. I had a latte and thought it beat a latte from McDonald's or Starbucks any day.

The kids also felt the quality and taste of the food was way above the food we have from fast food joints.

The friendly and ever smiling owner and staff made us feel welcome and comfortable during our visits to the Coffee Lounge during our stay at Sint Maarten.

I hope to return to the Coffee Lounge when we plan our next trip to Sint Maarten and wish the Coffee Lounge team...

BEST SPICED CHAI IN THE WORLD!! Went to La Sucarie first for pastries and coffee and was extremely disappointed, but walked over to the Coffee lounge and was amazed at the difference!! The service was incredible!! It was the cleanest place we went to in St. Maarten and the coffee and pastries were AMAZING!! I had their incredible spiced chai- my husband had the iced coffee. I ordered the almond chocolate croissant and refused to share it with my husband- it was fabulous!! They heated it for me and it was flaky, warm, and delicious!! The spiced chair was easily the best I have had in my life!! You won’t be disappointed!! No need to go...
