I thought I’d stop by for a cup of coffee, a nice lady greeted me, I ordered a coffee and a hoarse French woman’s voice, presumably the owner who was standing to her right, said, “You mean a long pull espresso?!”, I replied, “Yes, an Americano”, to which she replied, “You aren’t in America!!!”, rudely. Yes, I realized that, and shook my head sitting down. The patrons sitting at her cafe were evidently her French friends and were making jokes about ordering a Canadian coffee and Fish and Chips. It was really unbelievable. One would think with cruise ships stopping daily and thousands of Americans on the island she would know what I meant by black coffee, but she clearly had some resentment towards Americans. The best part was she didn’t even have a true espresso machine. It was either Nespresso or one of those other instant machines. Consider yourself lucky we paid your overprice juices as we are honest people.
What a joke! To avoid...

While the place is charmingly decorated, it is basically the Gingerbread house from Hansel and Gretel. The French owner, who at times can be very lovely, also has a nasty habit of snapping and lashing out at her customers. I came in early the next morning, to say hello to Delphine, and she screamed at me, saying I was rude to step on the floor which she had just cleaned. I definitely will not support this business as a result of her attitude. Arturo, on the other hand, I wish you...
