Nu Love Beach Bar — Restaurant in Philipsburg

My wife and I had lunch there today. A family of 6 were at a nearby table. The wo.en takes her baby in diapers and puts the baby on the table next to them and starts changing the diaper right on the table. I notified the owner who was at the bar watching shrugs his shoulders. I said sir the diaper is dirty. He just ignores me. When the family left he didn't even wipe the table down or chairs or menu's on that table. This is totally totally unacceptable!!. And we wonder why the norm virus is spreading. I asked the server if there's a bathroom available and he said yes. Think the next people would care? I asked the server would u bring your family...

Completely rude, the owner talked down to us and didn’t even make a margarita correctly. He seemed too busy making change. Maybe a manager should be working. No other employees seem to be able to do their jobs and the owner couldn’t be bothered for small talk. Rudely shut us down. Cared more about his beach customers than customers in the restaurant. Not nice for tourists coming in. No wonder he didn’t hack it in New Jersey…it’s mind boggling that the water taxis have discussions that the tourism is the number 1 means of income for the island. Stopped here for a bit. They had chairs and umbrella on the beach with a few drinks. That also allowed us to use the restroom, which was great. Ended up going for a bite to eat at lunch rather than going back to the cruise ship. Food was very good, and I tried the local beer based off their recommendation which was very good.

All the staff was very friendly and attentive and stopped by a few times to check on us. I'd definitely swing by here again if I'm ever...
