After a visit of a few years we stopped by Old Street at a restaurant previously owned by a Dutch owner, very friendly, food great and we ate several times.
We visited this year. Ownership changed owned by a French owner and several changes.
We had lunch ordered shrimp curry which was average (advertised as the best in the island) and I had a tuna sandwich which was good.
After waiting 40 minutes food was served with bread which was pretty dumb. We saw other French customers being given bead as soon as they sat down.

Read moreWe stopped by The French Touch for brunch one morning and could not be more pleased! I will be dreaming of the delicious ham and cheese baguette I ordered. My husband enjoyed the salmon baguette, and both of us loved the salad that came with the sandwiches - that dressing was so good! We both enjoyed an iced coffee - highly recommend - very refreshing.
The little cafe itself is unassuming but very clean, breezy, and tucked in a beautiful alley. We sat inside but the outdoor seating also looked lovely!

I really liked the seared tuna with ginger sauce and mashed potatoes- very well put together! The family liked their meals too - quiche and goat cheese sandwich.
