Oualichi — Restaurant in Philipsburg

My brother and I had asked for 4 cups of ice, and the attitude that the bartender had towards us would make us want to warn any other potential customer of the poor service that the restaurant offered. I’m not sure if it was due to us looking younger (I’m 18), or because we were white, or because he was having a bad day. I don’t care regardless, there was no reason he should have had an attitude towards us when asking for a cup of ice. If he was in the country I was from, I would have had no problem giving him water, ice, or whatever. I don’t care. Treat everyone how you want to be treated. I highly DO NOT recommend this restaurant, for the bartender set a bad example for the rest of the restaurant. Save your time and go next door. They’re nicer and their drinks...

We stopped here for lunch. We felt that the server did not want us there. She was short with us. We ordered a Croque Monsieur. What should have been a delicious sandwich was anything but. Two slices of bread, toasted, with a tiny bit of cheese and ham. When we showed the server, she didn’t say anything- just that yup, that’s it. We asked to speak with the manager, and after waiting a while, it was clear the manager wasn’t going to talk with us. The place was almost empty so they weren’t just overwhelmed. We stopping in for lunch yesterday. Our server was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately the manager was the complete opposite. My wife ordered the Caribbean salad and the chicken on the salad was very tough and difficult to eat. When we brought this to the managers attention he said there was nothing wrong with the chicken. We asked to have the chicken replaced with some goat cheese and he refused. He removed her salad from the table and gave no other option. When the bill came hey charge for the salad that was sent back.
