Poké Bowl Original Karel Doormanstraat — Restaurant in Rotterdam

OK poke bowls. I have tried a few others, mainly in The Hague and this one seems to use ingredients with are not as high quality as others. The shrimps and salmon were alright, the surimi was in chunks instead of shredded and I decided to not take the avocado as it was precut and turning an ugly brown in the bowl it was in. Other places marinate the protein separately, which can give great flavor to the raw fish, however not here. Also the dressings were used sparingly. I loved the place, food was tasty and the portions are very generous, however there are 2 main things I did not quite understand… 1st is there is no hot drinks (which is fine it is just smt that I would love to have) and only cold drinks are available. 2nd thing is that an owner of this place does not care about the ecological situation at all I assume. I ordered 1 poke bowl to eat inside and it was the same plate and fork that is used for a delivery. Wooden/paper forks and/or plates are not eco friendly. DONT EAT HERE: Please don’t eat here, the staff and the food is really bad. They added a lot of soya to my poke bowl and then denied to even change and cancel the order. I paid €18 for the order for just 1 bowl and they didn’t even change or add it. They kept blaming us that we got wasabi mayo that’s why it’s like that.
