Went here after trying it for the first time in Amsterdam. Although it's the same restaurant, things were very different. First of all the menu for 2 has way too much food for 2 people, other than being quite expensive (60€). In Amsterdam the menu was shorter, and ofc cheaper. The amount of food was perfect and nothing was wasted. The sauce tasted also different? It was way too heavy and we literally mixed the same ingredients that we mixed in Amsterdam, although the oyster sauce they had was way darker and the sesame oil had a weird taste. We ordered the double soup (mushroom and I don't remember what the other was, but it was red and it wasn't tomato), we chose "low spicy" and oh my god, it was SO spicy and full of chili, it was impossible to eat. We made sure our low spicy option was seen and they confirmed that the soup was not in fact that spicy. We had to take out the chili with the spoon to be able to eat it. The "spicy meat" was also way more spicy than the one we ate in Amsterdam. I don't understand how can the same restaurant be so different, if I will ever get back, I would rather go to Amsterdam...
Read moreUpdated on 8-Oct-2024 - Sadly, I have to lower my review. We ate here again last night, and were a bit disappointed, especially by the dessert. We ordered frozen mochi at the end of the meal, but these were clearly freezer burned/dried out on the outside and left quite a bad taste at the end of the meal. We really enjoyed our dinner here! Hot pot was new for all of us. The servers kindly explained how it works and gave us nice recommendations. The food was really delicious, and we enjoyed trying all the sauces/toppings. A couple of the meats/Tofus on sticks were less tasty, especially these strange meatballs - now that I know how it works, I would manually select dishes next time. The thin pieces of meat and mushrooms were really delicious. In total it was a bit expensive compared to a normal restaurant, but I think it's fair for the experience you get. The service was great - they always seemed available when we had a question, but they also left us alone to enjoy and did not interrupt our conversations. It all seemed very authentic. We...

Clean beautiful place, friendly staff. They bring you an iPad, through which you can order anything from the menu at any time. There were few visitors, so orders were brought quickly. But! Three stars for the food, because that’s the main thing my boyfriend and I went for. They immediately made us two sauces, which, as it turned out, cost 2.5€ each. Although we were not even asked if we needed it. There is a lot of broth, but it tastes like from instant noodles. Just with all sorts of vegetables. You cannot eat the broth itself, although you can do this in Japanese Hot Pot and it is very tasty. We asked for a less spicy broth. But it seems they made us a very spicy one by mistake, they even came to ask if it's not too spicy. No napkins. We paid 54€ for two, but left hungry (even though we ordered noodles and rice). A good place to go there with friends or colleagues and spend an evening. Not good if you just want a tasty meal. In that case I recommend to go to a Japanese Hot Pot. Also...
