An absolutely disappointing experience. Our order came incomplete and portion size was minimal. It was almost as if they had run out of ingredients and were trying to get away with serving leftovers. The €14,50 Gado Gado (pictured), which was a replacement for another order which they did not have, was a disappointingly small bowl of steamed vegetables with a blob of sauce, the Lontong and tofu were missing. The same for the meat in soyasauce, priced at €20 I expect a larger portion than I would normally serve my cat. The Bami Goreng (€6,50) was also a tiny portion and seemed it was yesterday’s leftover. The waiter appeared disorganized and overwhelmed. When paying for our food, he was apologetic but nonetheless charged us the full amount. I will not recommend this restaurant to others and do not intend on dining here again.

Cozy place and the food we ordered taste great. Price is considerably much lower than average Indonesian restaurants in Den Haag. Definitely a good deal! Would have loved to be able to 'build-our-own' rames like in usual toko; but that is only available during lunch. Outside of lunch hour, you cannot choose but only let the kitchen decide based on what they have available at that time. The batagor taste great just like on the streets in Indonesia. Some may argue that it's too starchy (more flour than fish).. but that's how I personally like it. That's what reminds me of "batagor pinggir jalan" (street food style batagor) that I used to have growing up. Will definitely come back.

Amazing food and great relation quality food in the middle of the center, the place where to be if you are hungry and not in the mood to spend more than 10€. The lunch service starts at 11, the portions are big but spicy! For 5,5 you get what is in the picture: a base (rice/Bami/nasi), one meat and one vegetable (or two), and from there you can add more for one euro. The service is not really good and the cappuccino is actually awful but hey it’s a restaurant not a cafè.

I tried the food here a couple of times, but more often than not the food wasn't up to par. Had takeaway meals with the first being tasty. Though next visit nasi recipe/ingredients changed bumming down the flavour.

First time the food was nice. The other times I came by it was lacking taste. The rendang was just floating in liquid (watery bumbu). It's a "are you feeling lucky" Indonesian which I'm not going to try my luck at anymore.

Note this was from some years ago, when they had just opened up and started the business. I just found out that for some reason by review was deleted, not by myself, hence reposting it. I still feel my review should've stayed and hope things have now improved.

Seeing times passed I might try again in the future and amend the above...
