I wish I could give it zero stars, but it's not possible. So, I work for Uber Eats and today I was picking up an order at Schnitzel Utrecht (that's how they call themselves on Uber Eats app). Upon arrival, I gave a call to the cafe, saying: "Hi!" Silence... I asked again: "Hello?" The answer was a rude: "What do you want?" or something similar. I was appalled, since at that point the man on the other side of the phone didn't know if I'm a delivery guy or a customer. I asked if he's always talking to his customers this way. That's when he started screaming at me on the phone calling me names. I told him that I'm cancelling the delivery since his tone is very unprofessional. What happened next really scared me and I don't know whether I should report the matter to the police. The man on the phone jumped out of the restaurant screaming profanities and waving his hands. He started screaming at me to tell him my name, reaching my phone and coming very close to me (it's a pandemic, mind you). That's when I took off. I'm still shaking...
Read moreWe held an event for our student association at ODD last Wednesday and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was great, the owner and bartenders kept the atmosphere fun and lively and handled the karaoke machine the entire time. It was one of the least stressful events we ever had.
Additionally we've been here for events before and it is always a good time.

Om 17.15 gereserveerd, werden we om 17.14 gebeld door een medewerker dat in hun administratie stond dat we 17.00 uur gereserveerd hadden, dat we te laat waren EN dat onze tafel aan een ander gegeven was... een normaal gesprek was niet te doen, medewerker was onbeschoft en klantonvriendelijk. We moesten maar contact opnemen met Socialdeals. Toch naar het Café gelopen en maar ook daar was de service ver te zoeken. Ze zullen niet voor niets adverteren op Socialdeals denk ik dan... Als ze zo met alle klanten omgaan houden ze er weinig over. Jammer dat 0 sterren geen optie is. Geen enkel goed woord over...
