Cafe College — Restaurant in Utrecht

At about 5 o'clock in the evening I came to this place and asked if I can sit somewhere at the front of the cafe, but inside. I was welcomed by the waiter. Then I ordered a drink. Then opened up my laptop. As it happens, the owner comes and asks me to go at the very back of the cafe because, in his words "people come here to eat and opening a laptop makes the cafe lose money". So I was shown a table at the very back side of the cafe, right in front of the toilet door. I am never putting a step again to this "cafe". What a shameful approach. What does opening a laptop have to do with losing money because people come there to eat? In fact, eventually there happened to be plenty of tables empty. First time I witness such a ridiculous business model. Meanwhile the owner should take his sun glasses off while talking to a customer. From his appearance it was clear that he has no idea about how to treat a customer and run a business. So there you go: one star, because there is...

Came here to eat during usual hours, prices were 15% more expensive than mentioned on website. After taking an order for tap-water we were served bottled water without notice, only after asking we were told they "only serve that with wine". After waiting for around 45 minutes for our main-courses (mainly hamburgers) we were surprised to see that they were put on ordinary white slices of bread instead of the burger buns that tables next to us got. without any comment about it from the staff... all in all a poor experience and won't be visiting again, high priced food for low quality of service and...

Sat for 10 minutes before we got a menu, 15 minutes later we got drinks and got to order. 35 minutes after that we still weren't even close to receiving our two sandwiches, and the staff couldn't tell us anything either. When we left and paid for the two drinks we had the manager told us "to go to McDonald, because they served quality here.".

Three other people left the same way. Highly unprofessional. Food looked great though, but that really doesn't matter if you...
