Go here if you want to leave feeling like absolute garbage. At my arrival no one was coming up to serve me but the waiters had time to instantly serve every white person but me. When I MYSELF asked for a menu the waitress repeated my question as if I spoke some made up language to her. I speak fluent Dutch. Not only were they cleaning everyone’s tables BUT mine, they were asking every fellow (white) person how the food was tasting and being pleasant to everyone, and you guessed it, BUT me. They completely ignored me, I felt like they were giving me dirty looks and made me feel like utter trash. It was giving high school bully vibe.
Adding that the food was so salty and 90% sauce I couldn’t even enjoy it. When I confronted the ONLY kind waitress about her fellow co workers behavior she was shocked and reassured me it has nothing to do with my looks. I asked her straight up if it was because of my looks (since I was the only Person of color) but she told me that the other guests/customers had a reservation so maybe thats why they were paying more attention to them and not me, since I had no reservation. To me it felt like micro agressions but whether that’s true or not I will NOT be going back here anymore. Thanks for...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. During dinner, I found the large ravioli lacking flavor due to its thick dough with minimal filling. The ratatouille sauce was an interesting choice, though not entirely to my taste. The mashed potatoes also lacked flavor, which was surprising given the usually excellent local potatoes. On a positive note, the restaurant's ambiance and aesthetics are commendable, creating a very pleasant dining environment. For breakfast, the cappuccino tasted like something from a vending machine. However, the fried eggs and bacon were nicely prepared and served in generous portions. A concern I'd like to raise is about the restrooms. On both of my visits, the women's restrooms were out of hand soap, necessitating a visit to the...
Read moreDisappointing service and terrible cocktails. Pity as it’s a great location for after work drinks. We came here with a group of 8, we ordered some borrel snacks but due to the poor service and quality of the drinks, we decided to not stay for dinner. Their dips for the bread sounded promising but the mango hummus and baba ganoush tasted nothing like it was supposed to. Portion was also super small for the price. Borrel plank and fried snacks were nice. Servers kept bringing order to the wrong table. DO NOT order any cocktails from here. I had the coconut mojito and the Dutch mule and it was beyond awful. People who ordered cocktails on the table were also disappointed. I will not be returning to this location. Much better places to go for colleagues near...
