Baan Thai cuisine (Halal) Epsom — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Order takeaway soon after it opened. Ordered 4 items. Came home to find an item was missing. Gave a refund. Ordered chicken satay and beef in black pepper. The thinest chicken staty ever had. Peanut sauce in a tiny tub. Hardly enough for 1 piece. I live only a couple of minutes away. The chicken was barely lukewarm. DANGEROUS. Pepper beef was simply horrible. Sauce was thin and had no taste at all. Think they used a base sauce and added some back pepper from a ginder at the end - you could actually see pepper pieces floating in the sauce!. What a joke. Went to Baan Thai for dinner last night. A fairly new halal Thai restaurant in Epsom. Very minimalistic and elegant interiors. The ambience was very welcoming with nice and classic melodies playing in the background.

We ordered the Pad Thai Chicken, Chicken Satay, Prawn Spring Rolls and the Crème Brûlée. The dishes were generously portioned and quite affordable too.

Both, the staff and the Owner were very friendly. To our surprise the Food was served in literally 5 mins after placing our order.

Walked in just before the place was about to close but the chef kindly waited for us to order and cooked our meal perfectly. We ordered the pad Thai, pad kee mao, and the green Thai curry.
