Epsom Knights Inn — Hotel in Albert-Eden

If you are traveling to attend appointments at Greenland Clinical, DO NOT STAY HERE. My partner's medical condition required our travel plans to change; we were put on a medical flight to Auckland City Hospital. I explained the situation and asked to cancel our four-night reservation as I needed to be nearer the hospital - my partner has end stage liver disease and was being flown up to be assessed for a liver transplant, but had become quite ill and needed to be admitted to Auckland hospital. They refused to cancel as it happened on the day of our scheduled arrival. I asked if they would please just charge the one night, and they refused. They kept my $547.50. I explained this is a time of financial burden for us; THEY DO NOT CARE.

One of our Uber drivers said he used to live down the road and Knight's Inn has a bad reputation, mostly because they take in Australian deportees. He advised to always stay in the CBD in more secure places. We had a great experience with excellent service in very modern rooms at Mercure on Queen St instead.

Being a caregiver to a dying partner is hard enough, now we are out over $500 and these people only care...

My Family and I stayed here and the rooms were good. The shower/bathroom was excellent but the guests were a lot of trouble and the Manager went funny on us after dealing with all of the guests from out of town , they were nothing but trouble. We notified the Manager about children that were playing in a paddle pool without being supervised by the parents at night time and our room was right next to it . Two of the guests assaulted me,and I called the police but the guests manipulated the police and hid the weapon. The Owner was notified and was not happy and yet she is really awesome.She appologised for what happened. There was a spa room however which had a therapeutic shower head that my children loved as they are Autistic. But we now have a Brand New home now and I will never stay there again. But the...

We had such an amazing stay at Knights Inn! Angeliqua was so kind and friendly when we first arrived, and she upgraded us straight away! Gaudum was really kind the next day when we asked for a late checkout and to leave our car! We were at an event at the showgrounds and it was just a quick walk. We were so relieved to be able to return to the Inn and rest in the cool and have a awesome shower. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were very comfy, rooms were spacious.... We didn't want to leave, it is a awesome rest spot from the busy of the city! Thanks...
