Lovely new owners struggling to fit improvements between very high bookings. They were very accommodating and helpful. I wish them all the best in their new venture. My Queen Suite Exec room had all the basics covered. It was nice and spacious. This was the last room left! Sadly, the spa bath wasn't pumping, but I still enjoyed a nice deep relaxing bath. (Yes, they knew they had inherited this issue and we're awaiting a break in their full house to be able to sort it out.) Quaint windows opened generously to let in cool breezes, and a large double door onto a small deck allowed the room to cool in the evening breezes. The desk fan was a welcome bonus in the Auckland summer heat. Although it was so full, it was very quiet and peaceful. Nice looking pool - I wished I had time to lounge in it! 😔 Very close to Greenlane Clinical Centre (Hospital), the race course across the road, and One Tree Hill domain. These night shots show the cute ceiling windows that bring nature in. Lovely touch. A bit hot midday I would think, but fantastic to watch the sunset or storm through! Or just enjoy stargazing on a clear night.

The only good thing about this place is that it was right next to where we had to go and not being from Auckland it was perfect. the bad thing about this place, our room had 2 coffee sachets, dirty sanitary items in the rubbish from previous guests (so room was not fully cleaned after them using it) empty shower products dirty cutlery, plates and rust in the salt & pepper shaker, our windows wouldn't close from the inside so my mother had to go out in the pouring rain to push them close, our fridge also leeked overnight so floor was covered in water in the morning. the staff behind the counter was told of all of these problems and her response omg that is disgusting were having trouble with cleaning staff i'm sorry but yet still had the audacity to charged us full price for a paru (dirty) disgusting room! what would you do if you had this room? highly recommend to NOT STAY HERE!! the fair marking on this is totally incorrect!!

We booked in as a large group and stayed for about 10 days I stayed in a room on the first floor with views of the pool and a little balcony the room was not the flashes but it was fit for purpose for myself child and 1 other adult it had a queen and a single in it bed was bit soft for my liking bathroom was a decent size shower was fine the room was a bit outdated but was clean and tidy when we arrived They allowed us to check in early which was perfect for us. The pool was a decent size with a little are for little kids to slash around in My son loved the pool. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our need The place is a bit run down has heaps of potential It was in great location for the event we attended If I was stay again I would request to stay on the ground floor cause those stairs were killer by the end of the stay

Easy booking through Booking. com.||Not far off the Southern Motorway.||Great reception, pleasant friendly and helpful service.||We had business in Auckland and an appointment 8am the following morning at Greenlane Clinic which is a short walk from motel||We were able to pack our car and leave it in the car park by our room for as long as we liked.||The room was standard, had all the usual amenities but no electric blankets, only a heater which looked like it had partially melted.||The bed was comfortable, the microwave looked well used, the bathroom was very small and the shower door was loosing its seal.||Overall it was very clean but the motel is in dire need of renovation. Our rooms walls had paint missing in spots.||Value for money is questionable, we were happy as it’s location to the clinic was our main concern and the saving on parking there offset the cost of the motel.||Knowing all this, if I had another appointment at the clinic, I’d...

I was accompanying my sister who was having surgery at Greenlane Hospital the next day.|The accommodation was arranged through the hospital system via Orbit Travel, as were the flights from Christchurch and airport transfers. |I had read the reviews on tripadvisor and was a bit concerned. |I don't mind old and tired but I very much mind, grubby and dirty. With my mind on my sister's surgery and recovery I didn't want to make a fuss. We spent the night there, got my sister to Greenlane and I made a hasty retreat the next morning, not wanting to spend another night there. Left the key by the sink as requested and spent the next night at my brother's place. |The floors were dirty as were the dishes and surfaces. Cuboard doors had seen better days. It was dark and dingy, no air-conditioning, noisy until the small hours. Not condusive to a stress free night before a medical procedure.|I would not recommend a stay at this dirty...
