Booked a table for 4 with ease through Google. This is a down to earth, casual establishment with a touch of class,; nicely decorated with reduced lighting. The menu is a bit confusing at first sight but would suggest small platters & pizzas can be shared but the large platters are really mains for one. Shared an Artisanal Meat Platter which was divine - great range of sliced meat, sausages, parfait, pickles & chutney served with charred sourdough. The mains Pork Belly was a huge square of melt in mouth pork with crispy skin; the feijoa made a very nice change to the usual apple accompaniment, The lamb rump steak was equally delicious. The side of fries was probably unnecessary but they were cooked to perfection and quickly polished off. Staff were extremely attentive without being obtrusive and down to earth friendly. Visited during a self imposed 'dry July' but will definitely be going back to try out the great selection of craft beers and wines available.

We had an excellent meal at Little Jimmies! The burger was spot on, the curly fries perfect. Probably one of the smallest sides of fries I have ever had with a burger, which in one way is great - I didn't overeat, but they were so yummy, a slightly larger portion would have felt a little less tight and made it an A++ plate. We had the Dulce de Leche cheesecake which was simply amazing. I would go back just for another portion of this incredible cheesecake. The bar / eating area on arrival was quite loud music wise, so we were glad to be shown into the restaurant where the atmosphere was great. Also, free sparkling water - an absolute winner and that represents such extra value, that this is a big win for me as I always buy a bottle! Also, I cant leave out the Bloody Jimmy - a really well flavoured cocktail topped with a lovely savoury kebab including warm tasty bacon! Well done!! Overall a really great dining experience that I would highly recommend!

17082024, we went for dinner at Little Jimmy, driving past so often, it looked so cozy, the menu looks great online and the online presentation is great. So, expectation are high. From the moment we entered, everything was what their profile promises, warm, eclectic, busy, tidy, super friendly. Connor made us a couple of cocktails; fantastic. The bar area is inviting to have a drink and chat before dinner. We choose 3 small dishes and a desert, Elephant Hill shiraz as company. Excellent service, available when, needed, quiet friendly, smooth. We highly recommend to visit once be warned it could become an addiction!!!! Team at Little Jimmy keep up the great hospitality. We will be back for more!!! Thanks for hosting a lovely evening!!!!

For a post work dinner catch up, we reconvened at Little Jimmy in Epsom for a fill dining experience ad opposed to dessert and coffee. Our waitress was super friendly and engaging and we were fortunate to get table. What I live most about this restaurant is the local produce advocacy and endorsement of fresh NZ food and beverage. We thoroughly enjoyed shared starters of the trevally raw fish and pork croquettes. Simply heavenly and unforgettable! Following on we had a wood fire sourdough Cajun chicken pizza with curly fries and to close of the meal, affogatos accompanying the Whitaker’s chocolate lava cake with freeze dried cherries. Highly recommended with distinction!

Nice decor and ambience with excellent service from the attentive staff. I visited because I had been told the food was all that and then some... My experience started with coffee that while drinkable was somewhat weak and insipid. The menu offerings looked exciting and varied, though in my case I went for a brunch classic that I could easily compare with meals enjoyed elsewhere. It was 'nice' but not at all memorable, I was sadly left underwhelmed especially given the somewhat premium prices charged. My partner felt much the same about her selection. I don't think we will bother visiting again
