Hungry Time — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Very disappointing and I want to warn others to be careful before ordering from here. I have been an UberEats customer for many years and never experienced such dishonesty until I ordered from this restaurant. They advertised a “special” on UberEats which clearly showed as a dinner-size meal ($22 discounted to $16). However, what I received was a much smaller portion not the dinner size as advertised.

Other restaurants I’ve ordered from always provide the full portion even when offering promotions. This place, however, seems stingy and intentionally misleading, trying to take advantage of customers by giving less food under the excuse of a discount.

To the restaurant: if you are going to run a promotion, you should be honest and clearly inform customers that they will receive a smaller portion. Otherwise, this is nothing but dishonest business practice. I ordered a dinner size and expected a dinner size not a downgraded meal disguised as a “deal.”

We’re regulars at Hungry Time, and I can confidently say it’s the best Thai takeaway I’ve ever had! I ordered through Uber eats and I'm super disappointed with the quality of the food. I got the satay skewers they were good no issues with that but I also got the chicken pad thai and it was horrible. It tasted nothing like pad thai to me. It was flavourless the only thing I could taste was a vinegar like fish sauce.
