Went early in the morning for my appointment at Greenlane Hospital and saw that the Cafe was opened. Ordered coffee, scone and B&E toasties. Girls were abliging and pleasant. Great to see culture in the cafe of different ethnicity, made it welcoming. Service with a smile and pleasantry of conversation. Food was good hot, coffee, scone all good to sit and have a few moments before appointment. Only area would be cafe had no heating circulation would be nice for those early mornings. A query would be pricing of some selections ( is 1 savoury pancake $9.00 ) small in size like piklets or do you get more than 1 as it look that you were paying more than its food cost. Bacon & Egg roll standard size roll, egg, bacon ( Not the real bacon but the budget range - really food cost seems to have doubled in price? Or are we now paying for paper cost and cutlery ? ) Look the service, people were great, smiles , and going out of there way. Great decor and coffee display and surroundings brillant. But look at some of your pricing structure as there are cafes out there who's pricing range is greatly acceptable with the product quality delivered. Product quality of food was ok but pricing is a little over the top which is...

I recently visited Jamaica Blue at Greenlane Hospital, and honestly, it was a letdown. I ordered a bowl of fries and a coffee while waiting for an appointment, thinking it would be a decent snack. The fries cost $10, which already felt overpriced, but what I got was even more disappointing — a small portion of limp, pale fries that looked like they’d been air fried and forgotten. No crunch, no seasoning, and definitely not worth the price.

The coffee wasn’t much better. It was average at best — drinkable, but flat and forgettable. For a café that positions itself as premium, I expected at least a decent cup of coffee, especially for the price. There’s clearly more focus on looking the part than delivering quality food or drink.

I get that it’s located inside a hospital and options are limited, but that shouldn’t mean cutting corners. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least serve food that feels fresh and made with care. Unless you’re really stuck for choices, I’d suggest skipping this spot and bringing your own...

Attention PATIENT/VISITORS. The cafe is just waste of money. I make a order at cafe, what i see the lady who was doing the cleaning she go to the kitchen and start cooking the food without changing the gloves and washing the hands is totally different matter. The food which i got, totally disgusting. Patient (my wife) she can’t even take a bite. Taste, smell was really bad.

This cafe owner/ staff, just finding an opportunity over the patient and visitors and making the pockets empty. There wasn’t a option for negative stars, otherwise i will give them -5 or -10.

PLEASE DON’T VISIT...

The lady at the counter didn’t not seem friendly, just busy working the queue without a smile. So I Was not impressed paying $8.90 for Thai Chicken salad and only receiving approx 3 pieces of chicken. To their defence they added more chicken when I made my son take the plate back. Salad needed just a tad more dressing / or could have been on the side as the noodles soaked it all up after it brought out the second time. Cafe has nice outdoor seating which is great for summer Probably won’t eat there again if I don’t have too Probably just order a take out coffee next time

I ordered hoki per the menu but what I received was different. I was told the hoki meal was changed because their were a lot of customer complaints. No apology for the change in menu. The hoki was luke warm and polenta chips were cold as if out of the freezer and not properly cooked. When I complained the chips were heated in the microwave. No apology for the poor quality and I couldn't bring myself to even finish the meal. The only saving grace was the coffee was good. They need to teach their staff customer service and upskill the chef.
