Hambagu — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

First time trying out this new Halal burger joint. It is located on a popular and busy st with a few other small businesses. Parking is okay which is side of the road and I'm sure you wouldnt have trouble with it. Unless the other businesses near by are busy. The food is delicious. I was super hungry that night so I ordered the double burger and it definitely did the job. I got full before I even finished the burger. I also ordered as a combo which was about $6 extra unless you upgraded your fries or drink. The seaweed fries are tasty but I think it's best to have on its own as you have so many flavors happening when eating a flavoursome burger too. The restaurant itself is only pick up so it was quite upsetting to find out that we couldn't dine in. Hopefully in time they may consider this. The service is actually very good. All 3 guys working that evening were very accommodating to what my friends and I each wanted and we're very nice about it too. Pricing is average I would say like your gourmet takeaways. We had heard great things about this place on social media and google reviews but was left disappointed.

We ordered Philly cheese burgers and fries. Best thing about the burgers was the bun, meat was tough and under seasoned, cheese sauce was flavourless, and overall felt like eating a plain sponge. The fries were also overcooked and under seasoned.

Our biggest concern though was the cleanliness of the store, the table we dined out had crumbs from previous diners and a sticky film on it. No attempt to wipe it down, even after watching me try to clean it with just a napkin.

I didn't bother to take any photos, but imagine a sad burger and unsalted fries, that's we got.

If you're looking for good burgers in central would recommend Parade or Ralph's, better quality for a similar price.
