bought 2 12 inch subs sun arvo 18 april around 4.30,wasn't busy, young guy serving, another sitting playing with ph, noticed a fly constantly landing on the cookies, I swished it away and mentioned to the server who also swished it away again. sub was good but wonder if the salads have flies landing on them as never covered and don't buy the cookies Saturday 29/1/22, went to subway Kingsland around 8 pm, the lights were on so opened the door and proceeded to the counter with covid passport ready, no one came out, the salad prep area was completely empty, nek minute alarm goes off, I called out but still no one, I then went next door to tell the staff member at gull what happened and he was amused, he then tried to get hold of the manager which took awhile, I went back and waited by subway to explain what happened when the manager turned up, he thanked me and I left. Manager and staff are unfriendly and a friendly smile or apology was nowhere to be seen. My husband had a meatball sub with frozen cold meatballs and even after we asked if it could be warmed up, we felt like we asked the impossible, and the meatballs where still cold. As I asked to see a receipt, they hadn't even put my order through the till, means they also haven't given me my subway points. AND This is the worst part, the manager himself made a mistake putting it in and in the process of fixing took the points away from my account!!! That's theft!!! How do I know? My receipt said I had $3 worth of rewards and as I wanted to use them yesterday there was only $2.65!!! Their menus sucks, their service sucks even more and they steal from their customers!!! After the lettuce, he just slams a bundle of capsicum on one bite side of the sub, puts a few leaves of spinach on then goes for the next ingredient. I had to stop him! " whoooo dude" i said, "I've had better subs than that". I told him i want him to put 100% effort into the sub hes making for me (that i worked bloodly hard for the money im paying him). The dude couldn't care less. I made eye contact with the other employees and they did nothing. I shook my head, said whatever and excepted the sub. Didn't enjoy eating it! Angry about it!
