Liu’s Cuisine — Restaurant in Christchurch

We have a great dinner at this restaurant last night. We ordered braised beef, Sweet and sour pork, Shanxi style chicken with noodles and stir fry lamb neck with vegetables. The service is very good. The food were served in just a couple of minutes. There is no customer when we arrived 5:00PM. However, the restaurant is almost full during dinner time. We love the Shanxi Chicken and the lamb neck. One of my fav go-to places in CHCH to enjoy Chinese noodle soup. Recommend the beef noodle soup and the lamp noodle soup. Service quality is always good. Weekend lunch and dinner times can be the peak times but usually there is no need to wait for a table. The only thing that I wish they could improve on is to add more choices for side dishes. After years of searching, I have finally found a place to rival the Colonel in delivering warmth and love to me.

Ordering after 10 soapy IPA’s, a plastic tray of combination fried noodles was delivered and as soon as the MSG hit my lips, I felt powerful.

This place saved my life and I’ll never forget it.
