Our lil family came across Monster chicken when staying in Christchuch a very convenient wander from where we were staying! By gosh we are so glad we parked up in a humming restaurant we had never tried Monster chicken before * Greeted as soon as we entered with a smile from the very busy chap at the bar, menus in our hands within moments and told to sit where we were comfy. Our waiter was amazing explained the menu to us and guided us to something suitable for a 5 year lad he relayed our order to confirm, drinks on our table as soon as and food delivered pretty promptly for a busy Friday night. Our crispy chicken and burgers (teri teri and crispy) with fries arrived . Well dam! Absolutely outstanding meals from the brioche bun , the chicken and the pickled slaw and sauces. Reasonable price for family of three, we will return everytime there is a Monster chicken about sadly we don't have one near where we live . Very disappointed with food tonight . We always recommended monster chicken after been there few times and went with colleagues tonight , food was cold , service was very bad. Booked a table of 13 @5;30 pm and cold food was served as quickly as we got there ( while still waiting for our drinks to be served first) , tried to speak to staff and when I asked for manager , a guy behind counter told me we got 3 managers at the moment (while just 3 staff were behind the counter) and explained him food is cold and nobody on table is happy with this food and service as we still waiting for our drinks and it’s not even busy here so not sure what these guys were doing . Felt embarrassed for arranging dinner at monster chicken . Guy was rude who I tried to explain the issue . Not helpful at all . Nothing was done to fix the issue (even 3 managers were on duty that time -as this guy said ), spent over $400 for cold food and bad service . Staff really need to get some basic customer service...
