This could have easily been a 5 star review. Lovely staff, amazing food, awesome vibe always guaranteed.
However, as a regular customer I am often disappointed by two aspects. I have visited āSaturdaysā at least 10-12 times over the last year. Each time I have dined in, the tables I have sat at have been covered in food scraps, grime, bird droppings. Today it was a portobello mushroom (sitting on one of the chairs, like a landmine ready to be sat on by an unobservant customer). The table had a unidentifiable green paste like substance consistent with dried avocado?. Additionally there was bird droppings on the table. General grime that has been hurriedly wiped deeper into the table which is a porous vinyl. This is a regular occurrence, the outside tables are usually in this condition each time I visit. The second aspect is that the tables are always out of balance⦠outside of acceptable tolerancesā¦annoyingly⦠I came to enjoy my coffee, not practice my fine motor balancing skills. Looks like the feet are adjustable so could be an easy fix?
Overall, I will still visit⦠I think Saturdays could re-name themselves as āwe only clean and balance our tables on Saturdaysā

Inside standing at the counter, waiting to order we had to wait quite a while to get the attention of the server. When I got my iced oat coffee it came with neither a napkin, nor a saucer (I paid a whopping $9.50 for this!) As the waitress put the glass down, she spilled a bit of the content, without taking any notice. Asking for a napkin resulted in one thrown on the table. We could've dealt with all of this had it not been for what came next. A member of the public came in, grabbe an empty chair from our table and threw it at some people sitting in the outside part of the cafe. They then left with a lot of swearing. None of the cafe staff came over to check on their patrons... Needless to say this was the first...

Weordered some food, I had the mushroom and haloumi bruschetta, with a poached egg, very nice too, my wife ordered the chicken burger. The meat had been deep fried, very disappointing and was not cooked thoroughly, very disappointing. The "chef", came to see us, and said, he had used a meat thermometer, therefore it was cooke, clearly it was not. I have been a chef for over 30 years, and I know when chicken is, or isn't cooked. There was no apology, we ordered more coffee, and a couple of slices, the waitress had to phone her boss to see if it was ok that we were not charged. The way this whole episode was handled was really bad. The chef is not good, and the burger, was a disaster. We would not recommend this as a place to eat.
