Serve Social on St Asaph Street is one of the most fun and versatile spots in Christchurch. It combines great food, drinks, and a wide range of interactive games under one roof, making it perfect for nights out, birthdays, or team functions.
The ping pong setup is excellent, with digital scoring and lighting that makes the experience fast paced and exciting. Shuffleboard and darts both have a modern, tech enhanced twist that adds to the energy of the venue. Cornhole is another highlight, with a digital version that turns a simple game into something fresh and engaging.
On top of the social games, the escape rooms are immersive and challenging, offering a fantastic option for groups who enjoy problem solving and teamwork.
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming and the whole place just has a vibrant feel. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the menu offers tasty pizzas, snacks, cocktails, craft beer, and cider to keep everyone fuelled up.

Read moreUnforgettable experience at Serve Social âEchoes of the Damnedâ! This was hands down one of the best escape room experiences Iâve ever had. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was intense, immersive, and brilliantly eerie. The design, lighting, and sound effects created a suspenseful vibe that had us completely hooked.
âEchoes of the Damnedâ is incredibly well thought out every puzzle feels like a piece of the story, not just a challenge. It kept us thinking, communicating, and laughing (with a few heart pounding moments thrown in too!). The staff were fantastic super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do.
If youâre into escape rooms or just looking for a thrilling, team building activity in Christchurch, I canât recommend this enough. Weâll definitely be back for the...
Read moreServe has the BEST set up for ping pong! Each table has an easy to use scoring system, with the score shown on a screen, the nets are actually solid so the ball bounces back (no reaching up the table), there's an awesome programed LED lighting system embedded in the tables which shows the score and whose turn it is to serve. The room is decked out with four tables, loads of bats and thousands of balls (which you dont have to pick up as they have this cool little ball picker upperer). There is a cute little bar on site with a surprisingly good selection of craft beers, ciders and hard seltzer, as well as wine and spirits (definitely try their espresso Martini!). Serve is an excellent venue for groups, work crews and double date nights! Will definitely be going back...
