Sushi Time — Restaurant in Christchurch

Waz 5 stars. Now however, something has happened with their loyalty card. They had stamps stolen? They do not honour their earlier stamps x4, and now do not recognise South City I Love Sushi shop either. Manager today, when I spoke with him discreetly after busy time, wanted to rip my South City loyalty card up, which includes their own old stamps. I went as I was most embarrased with treatment at their store Eastgate, day prior by the leading senior lady there. However it has excellent sushi, however they have dropped the ball here for me at least.

I did say to the 'manager' today, I will look to change this review. (*originally 5 stars). I tried to get their (old) stamps placed on my New loyalty card from their shop, he would do this, but I would lose my South City stamps x4.

Have they had a War? These two shops were allowing upto now, cross over for ultimate free $13 (now $13:50) lunch pack.

He either didn't understand, or didn't mind my review change.

I Am Not...

Being a long term fan and loyal patron of sushi time south city. I am disappointed to see the place go skimp. While the crispy chicken is great, it is expensive. Lunch for 3 adults and 1 kid quickly turned to $70 for not very much food!!! I'm particularly disappointed with the rice trays. They used to be stacked full of rice and chicken, now it's a handful of rice with a sprinkle of chicken hid under a thin layer of mayo. Tbh if you want to keep loyal customers don't switch up the price and the portion size!! It's quite the contrast if you get a rice trays from sushi time...

i orderer a crispy chicken rice ball no mayo they listened to the no mayo but it is clearly teriyaki, i cannot eat it due to my arfid so im pretty upset to see that my request was not met when they said it was possible, it could be the soy sauce but i had no indication there would be soy sauce and it upsets me considering it was $8 for something i cant eat. im not trying to sound like a karen but i have a disorder which means the food has to be specific or i will feel physically sick. im pretty disappointed considering the price...
