BurgerFuel Takapuna — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

Food was good, the place was clean. But you need to tighten up your team. When we got there there was one other couple already waiting for their food. The girl on the till took our order and checked our request for no onion on the burger, but didn't check whether I wanted the real chicken nuggets combo or the real chicken nuggets by themselves. Nothing really happened for a few minutes and then the other girl who was out the back on her phone came out and started cooking the first couple's burgers. And a new couple's order for fries.

Question: why wasn't she already cooking the first couple's burgers? Why did she only come out into the kitchen when there was a second order?

We got our food anyway. But there was onion on the burger, and I got the real chicken nuggets and not the combo. I didn't realise there were two options, my fault I suppose.

I went in to grab a burger for my birthday and I had to deal with the worst customer service ever Women Named Abigail she refused to serve me even though i showed her the email and driver license what supposed to be a pleasant experience turned into a very bad one and she lied to my face saying I have to sign 24 hours before I go to claim my free burger when I called the Auckland city branch they said I don't have to do nothing as such i just need to download the app and even i gave her my phone number she said she can't find my account which i was very uncomfortable giving my personal phone number.

And when I asked to talk to someone else she said she was the manager she was working behind the checkout at 8:38 pm on the 31st of July 2024 and didn't let any of the other staff to talk to me,

Worst experience to have in my birthday byond disappointed and upset and she saw that and she was smiling almost laughing because...

Decided to eat there for lunch and overall had a very uncomfortable experience. When I was ordering my food the woman was impolite as she was closed-off and did not seem welcoming. Even my friend pointed this out and agreed with my comment. When we were at our table our food was finished and so the woman who had taken our orders walked to us and almost slammed the tray onto the table enough to make a huge rattle and slide across the table. Me and my friend were left very confused and very uncomfortable after this experience. On top of that my v dub vege had a huge piece of lettuce in the middle of the burger, most of the beetroot sticking out of the buns and my "patty" at the bottom of my bag still in their round forms. Very disappointed in this experience and will most likely never be visiting this...
