I don’t think I’ve ever been as misled by google reviews. The owners seem nice and obviously serve the local geriatric population well. Maybe we ordered the wrong food, but it was overall well under par. The kids meal, for $16, listed as hotdog and chips, was 2 mini processed meat on a stick with a handful of chips. It was the type of meal you’d get at a fish and chips joint for about $3. The snapper was alright but came with wedges that were cold and undercooked on the inside, and no salad. The chicken burger seemed to be put together with 2 bottom pieces of a bun, and the patty made of the frozen tegal chicken patties you would get at the supermarket. A rear find, a 5⭐️ cafe with heart & soul. The food says it all, genuine homemade baked cakes, cookies, pies & samosas, and meals made fresh on the premises. The pies have been my favourite pies for many years, the pastry is authentic, thin and buttery. The fillings are meaty and tasty.
