Harry's Burger Punk — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

So I usually love Harry’s but my experience that I had today means that I won’t be back for a while. I placed an order online to collect at 7pm (I even double checked the confirmation email), and when I collected it at 7, the younger member of staff was hospitable but the older gentleman there was not. And also when I went to eat it was cold. From also the email that I received when I got back it turns out it was made and ready to pick up since 6:20. Only thing is I had order it to pick up at 7 as I couldn’t get there beforehand. Was very disappointed. Also the chips despite being cold were nice but the burger was tasteless. Burgers were unpleasantly salty and one was soggy, our gluten free buns were prepared on the same toaster as normal buns, and dairy free patties cooked on the same fryer as the cheese, so I cannot recommend this location for anyone with allergies.

Beyond that, though, they added cheese to our dairy free, without-cheese bacon burger, talked so loudly that we could hear them about doing so, overcharged us, and drew a Nazi Swastika on the burger box and told each other that we wouldn’t notice.

Overall quite tasty. The fries and onion rings are some of the best on this side of the harbour, however the actual burgers were just (maybe slightly above) alright, especially the patties.
