Sensational Chicken — Restaurant in Hamilton

Assalamualaikum Brothers and Sisters, I actually want to rate this store 4½ ⭐'s. I have had many pleasant experiences here, firstly it's Halal and reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly and the kebabs 🌯 Chicken 🍗 and chips 🍟 are delicious. MarshAllah 😋 Especially when they put down a fresh batch and it's nice and hot🔥 Apart from the long wait time ⏲ the food is still soo good.👍 As a regular and loyal customer perhaps they should have loyalty cards as an incentive like some of the other kebab shops do, although they are still very popular. I wasn't too happy 😕 though the other day when I ordered my meal, as normally the staff are kind enough to throw in some extra sauces on the side with my order. As I normally purchase up to $30+ dollars when ordering, only to suddenly be charged extra by Chirag whom I believe is the Store Manager. Luckily enough I had some spare change in my pocket, but I would kindly like to ask Bhai perhaps to avoid any disappointment in future it may be a good idea to make sure your staff are implementing this. I was going to argue my point further as I had mentioned that normally the staff are kind enough to throw them in my order, but I thought as the Prime Minister says "Be Kind" & "Be Curteous" and I didn't want to cause "No Drama". Again tonight when I ordered my meal 1 of your friendly staff members were kind enough to put in a aioli sauce for me 😊 No worries 👍 though I will still be back and recommending to other friends and family. Used to be great, but attention to detail has really gone downhill in the last 12 months and customer service has never been good - though when the food quality was good it didn't bother me. I have been a regular customer for the last few years. Curly fries are usually overcooked or not curly, just scraps.

But this is what I actually came here to talk about, and it breaks my heart; the "Spicy" chicken burger never has enough chilli sauce in it. Over the last year it's barely there, the burger usually contains a decent amount of mayo though for some reason. Maybe rename the burger? This has happened too consistently for me to just be unlucky. The odd thing is that even when I have paid for extra chilli sauce in person, this has made no difference and the burger still ends up with a meagre amount on it. You would think that I would've learnt my lesson by now but apparently I hate myself because tonight I discovered they've just given up putting any chilli sauce in this burger at all!! This is a deal breaker for me so it's time for our relationship to end. Nothing is more disappointing than receiving food that isn't even spicy but advertised as such.

Edit: editing my 1 star review to 3 stars as the owner has acknowledged the problem which I appreciate, and aside from the chilli sauce and poor customer service issues the burgers are decent quality. Have not been back as of yet to see if anything...

I admit, sensational chicken wasn't our first choice, but after going for a walk with a friend in search of meaty, spicy tacos, and our search coming up empty, we went to sensational chicken as a last resort. At first, the name "sensational chicken" seemed to good to be true. A chicken shop that thinks that highly of itself is usually average to low quality. But alas, were proven wrong, for sensation chicken was indeed, sensational.
