McDonald's Lincoln Road — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

Had breakfast at Lincoln Road.The young lady was polite genuine and placed the order in the register to go through with no fuss or confusion of eye rolling up and down after 3 times of us changing our minds she was attentive and pleasing to our mistakes, changes, and smiled with appreciation to serve us. ( that's going the extra mile when a customer changes there mind or debates what they should eat or not then says repeat the order or can I not have this and add that the young lady was professional and courteous the whole time WOW) That's customer service. We were told thankyou here's your order # take a sit. By the time we sat down less than 5 minutes our order came all correct and as the girl turn to go back our mccafe hot chocolate and coffee came with a smile brillant just made our day. Well done Lincoln Rd. Service sparkling, ambience cool, atmosphere with back ground music low not blasting was great to hear each others conversation, some outlets have it too high up and you can't here each other but this was just right. The staff all look clean and smartly dress and interacting with each other laughing and enjoying what they were doing. One exception the young girl in lobby look like she did not want to be in lobby holding her white cloth as if holding a rag doll swaying it side to side. The young gentleman sweeping the floors at the same time being mindful of customers eating. The experience was just a touch of class. Outside parking available not too busy and surrounding area all the comforts of clean and tidy appearance. Have not been to McDonald's that upheld there standards in a while as shown today. Only reason it even gets a Star is because my Moko liked the new playground. Staff act like they don't enjoy their job and they come across with a real attitude that screams "Im bored I hate you Go Away" and nobody smiles!!!! A smile goes a long way in my book. The only reason we still go here is the damned convenience cos we live 5mins away otherwise we go to Te Atatu or Kelston where they smile and act like they care and if they get something wrong they own it. Lincoln Road on the other hand 8 times out of 10 visits you miss items in our order or you put the little ticket on the burger when we have a special request and instead of removing the onions and pickle I swear you put double. Have even been and was given a Big Mac burger with a bloody bite taken out of it and then to add insult to injury the Manager argued with us and accused me if being the one to have taken the bite of it. So last visit last week after spending over $80 and checking with the person that all items were there we get home to discover the 6 pack nugget Happy Meal wasnt even there (god knows how I missed that one) tried calling and left messages on FB and with their Head Office to complain and even though their HO acts like they will look into it nobody ever does. Just refund my damned money or give me the items I paid for. People dont waste your time go the extra distance and check out Kelston or Westgate or Te...

Went to Mcdonalds lincoln buy hot drink waited 10mins in drive thru happy to do that. Get to the speaker waited no one asks me what my order is so I drive to the drive thru window . Advised staff in the drive thru window that no one asked for my order thru the speaker . Told staff just wanted hot drink she replied pull over to the side of the building and wait. So I waited and waited I had somewhere to go . Already now been 15mins since I arrived at Mcdonalds still no hot drink? Just waiting outside ? with other customers. I knew something wasnt right I went into to store to querie my order lady main counter advised I go see Mccafe counter. Get there asked young women she had received my order she said whats my number advised her they never gave me one . At that point it was clear drive thru who I had just paid did not put my order thru now 20mins been at Mcdonalds still no hot drink . The young lady at counter hurridely made my drink. After more than 20mins I finally got my x1 cup of hot choclate thats all I came to buy from Mcdonalds! took them total of near 24mins to provide me x1 cup hot choclate? Thats service for yeah . Its good I didnt buy a burger I would have to sleep there overnight before I got my order Lol. Hope they improve their service .I wont be going back to Mcdonalds Lincoln . They have no respect for...
