The Waitohi — Restaurant in Marlborough

Drove out of way to try this establishment. It was made clear, very clear while there if your a friend of the owners you get service! and if your not you get well rubbish best describes it. Worse than waiting more than an hr in a ten table establishment is being questioned after and hour what your order for the table was because the owner forgot to print the 2 separate orders and send to the kitchen. People arriving we'll after us and even some bloke off the train getting there orders first. Then receiving cold chicken parma and a chicken n mushroom pasta with 2 pieces of chicken and being told but there was 18 pieces put in for 2 serves I only ordered 1 and the chicken was not in there. All in all never again will I was my time out of 4 diners 2 meals returned in eattible one missing its ingredients...

Don't like leaving reviews, however. Rocked up from the boat, came for a beer and ordered one. I was let know after he poured it that they don't accept paywave. I didn't have another way of payment, and then gentleman took care of the beer for me. Now this will happen in other places with a slight head of grumpiness, however he showed me nothing but kindness.
