Polite service, but food missed the mark

I placed an order and only found out when I arrived that there was no kimchi available, which was a letdown. The staff offered to swap it with prawn tempura udon since it was the same price, which I appreciated. However, the dish was quite bland, and the prawns were coated in too much batter, making it heavy and lacking in flavour.

I also ordered a range of chicken, but unfortunately everything was quite dry. It may have been close to closing time, which could explain the quality—but when you’re spending a decent amount of money, you’d hope for food that still reflects care and freshness.

I would’ve preferred the option for a refund or to choose something I actually wanted, rather than being offered a dish I hadn’t tried before. I didn’t end up finishing it because it just wasn’t for me.

Went in at 6.15pm tonight, hardly any meat but the Karaage chicken was topped up just as I selected my meat so thought ‘nice! Some hot fresh food’ oh HOW WRONG I WAS!! Worse Udon Noodles I have ever had. We ordered the plain Udon Noodles, it was so salty we couldn't finish the portion. Everything just tasted like salt, no balance in flavors. The tofu was also salty due to the broth.They also ran out of eggs but there was no extra toppings provided. Our also didn't come with any spring onion on top.

Won't be coming back, and frankly a waste of...
