Double knot cafe — Restaurant in North Island

This is a classic/old-fashioned kiwi-style cafe. What it may lack in "aesthetic", it makes up for with amazing service, excellent coffee, and good food.

My son is allergic to dairy and egg and the person taking our order was sooo helpful! She looked up the ingredients in some of the items she wasn't sure about and offered to make my son an oat milk fluffy with dairy free chocolate powder.

Wow wow wow. Went there for a Breakfast with my partner a few weeks ago and have one of the most enjoyable cafe experiences ever! The young girl behind the counter was amazing! Made the whole cafe laugh super welcoming and definitely a hard worker. I had an eggs Benedict and was by far the best I’ve ever had. The chief delivered it to our table with a smile. Easy access from adjacent ample off-street car park space. Clean, tidy well set out facility with comfortable seating at well spaced table. Ready made cakes slices, pita, rolls and sandwiches, pies and multiple saviour options in addition to made to order foodstuff. Excellent coffees today too.
