Traditional Roast — Restaurant in Northland

Unfortunately I had a craving for a roast meal and this one was the closest to my location. I ordered the Medium Chicken and two pieces of Fried Chicken.

Turns out they don't do Roast Chicken as my meal was just fried chicken. The vegetables didn't feel fresh and the chicken was soggy even though it was fried... Neither felt fresh.

Was very disappointed I didn't get Roast Chicken that I wanted.. I guess they don't actually do it despite...

Roast lamb tasted more like Chinese stir-fry than it did lamb, and was very dry. Sandwiches were on stale bread, no Marge or butter, just old looking salad, and stale bread. Potatoes were alright, but cold. Chicken was good though. Reading other reviews, it seems what day and time you go matters to get the food hot and tasty. The meals were a decent size, but the quality of the food just wasn't there...

Terrible. The lamb was reasonably tasty but mostly pieces of fat, gravy was from a packet, the potatoes were cold, the kumera was miniscule and I'm pretty sure he counted the peas. The guy serving us was surly and had a full on yelling fit at some poor girl out the back then proceeded to cough up phlegm very loudly the whole time we were trying to eat our meal.
