I came in yesterday on Thursday to have a look at the restaurant around 10:15. The restaurant said it opened at 9am but everything was closed. I came back 20 minutes later and the store had opened an hour and a half later than the opening time.
I went with a couple of my friends and we had sat down on a table that was covered with leftover food. We decided to move tables and the lady wiped it down for us. The ambiance of the restaurant was unwelcoming, no music was being played, no greeting or smiles from her and the floor was still covered with leftover food. She had placed the menus in a stack and left to the back. My friend had to go up and order by the counter only to find out majority of the menu was “out of stock”
As we waited for our food, we could hear the sound of a microwave go off and realised that the food isn’t going to be fresh. We ordered two duck phos that had differentiated colours, one darker than the other and summer rolls which had an after taste of soap. The fried dumplings as expected, were not crunchy and soft. The sriracha sauce on the table was also expired.

The cashier did not listen to me when taking my order and it turned out she had not gotten it correct. Upon serving, and realizing she had missunderstood she did not try to clearify or refund us, even though we had paid too much. And we had to remind her twice about what they had missed.
The pork skewers looked boring and the taste was at best decent. Spring rolls were OK. Summer rolls did not come with peanut sauce like it said but sweet chili but they tasted nice. Side of rice was bland and dry. Stir fried veges were horrible. I hardly ate half. Bland, floated around in some horrible tasting fluid, did not taste fried but rather boiled.
This is the 3rd Vietnamese restaurant I try in as many days in Wellington but is by far the worst.

I went up said something, got told they don’t do salads like the menu says through out the year. I assumed the ingredients were out of season and said they should say something as I would have ordered differently. Ironically they did ask if I was okay with nuts and shallots (both listed ingredients of the salad) when I ordered. Sat down and noticed all the pho came with sprouts. Went back up again, seems they’ll just decide what they want to put in. Paid $16.50 for a salad that probably cost $2 and felt like $2. Should have read the reviews before I went in,...
