We came first time here, using first table website. First man who bring us to sit table, he was so gently and nice but who did service to us was a bit Rush customer service. One of us was still eating, could wait a bit more until both of us finish eating then clean dishes. Sadly, We felt rush to eat. We had Casar Salad and Fried Squid as entree. For main, we had market fish (it was blue cod with miso sauce and roast veges) and Taupo Beef eyefillet steak with Truffle béarnaise sauce. Foods were lovely, especially I loved the Truffle béarnaise sauce and also the way of how they cooked blue cod was perfect. Soft and fluffy with crispy skin. Very nice. We had Tiramisu as dessert but its not real tiramisu. Its like cake taste like very sweet cake with coffee liquor so wasnt expecting for me. Overall, Good price by using first table. Nice food except dessert. Hopefully the waiter could let customer more relax to eat, not rushing to eat.

Enjoy the cheese scones, salad and steak here! We came to try its famous cheese scones and it didn’t disappoint. The steak is also cooked to our liking. The chipotle chicken is also tasty. The salad is fresh and I ask to take out the bacon so I can eat it. The snacks are interesting as well, with oysters ( fresh and fried), fried squid and fried chicken as our favorite Drinks are abundant in terms of choice as well. There are a lot of choices of wines, beers and cocktails for those drinking them Coming here several times for working lunch, leisure lunch as well as dinner. Always manage to get the table and received good services so far. Waiters are friendly and patiently explained some recommendations and answered our questions regarding the menu.

we absolutely loved this place. it was recommended by a co worker as a meat place, but in my opinion I enjoyed better other things. I enjoyed the tempura oysters and the croquetas , incredible tasty. the dessert was also perfect. The meat was good, but personally I don't enjoy when the put so many sauces to what in where in my opinion the main flavour should be the meat only. In the menu it did say it would have a sauce, but I thought it would be on the side! and they actually put 2 different sauces !! way too much! The environment and service were both up to point and the restaurant had a retro European feel which we loved. We are definitely going back for more , sooner rather than later ! (sauces on the side this time)

So we went to Pravda to celebrate my son's birthday. What can I say, real disappointment and disaster. The Cesar salad was ok but the dressing bland, the calamari was poor the crust was poor so was the flavour. The Tartar was blend too and quality of beef poor or poorly executed. We ordered bread and thought the herb butter would be flavourful but obviously there is a problem with the chef's tast buds. Chicken was ok so was the steak. We asked the sauce on the side but got it on the plate. The chips was stale ,cold and not crispy like proper fries. The biggest disaster was the Brownie it was a lump of hard ganache the Cherie's came from a jar so was the Sauce. It was hard as a rock needed a knife couldn't even finish. The brĂ»lĂ©e was edible because of the sorbet but when the menu said Passion fruit you do not expect half of a fruit on the brulĂ©. We thought it would have been infused in the brulĂ©. This was another disaster. Also ordered lemonade but got Sprite instead. The sauce we order was split and disgusting. On top of that the waitress wasn't professional she dumpt the plates on the table and for a place like that I would have thought they would expect to clean the plate faster and also the table but that wasn't the case. We ate the food because we were hungry but we were extremely disappointed. One of the biggest flops we ever had for a very expensive price which wasn't worth it. My takeout near my house cooks better the Pravda for a fraction of the price. The biggest mistake they made was charging us 3 extra item on our bill that we did not order. My husband did not see it but when I checked the total did not make sense. So I saw the extra 3 items that were charged on our bill of 32$ 😠. Went back for a refund was very angry for the unprofessionalism and got no explanation whatsoever. Do not put your foot there it's a waist of...

I was treated extremely rudely by the front of the house staff yesterday. First my mask was loose and this young girl barked orders at me. Considering the fact that I am ‘encouraged’ by regulations to wear one but by no means required (!) it could be more rude to speak ti me on that manner. On my way out - the stairs and the lower part were empty (!) I didn’t think of putting the mask on. Same girl ordered me, not even asked kindly, but barked order to put my mask on. And when I told her that I could but btw was not required she started to tell me that in this country (as opposed to some other savage country I supposedly come from as I obviously spoke with an accent ?!) I have to wear a mask, she asked me if I was crazy next ! I said that I was just going to pay and leave she yelled at me saying She didn’t want my money anyway and that I should get out and never come back!!! I had my view at the situation and I politely stated it, I was no less than abused and shoved out. Remind you, customers are not required by government to me masked up. Besides that point this little blind blue eyed girl didn’t have to be rude to me, she could have politely invited me to take my leave. When I emailed Pravda later that day, no insert followed. This is the Pravda...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pravda Cafe & Grill and was blown away by the experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy interior that felt like a home away from home.

The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and expertly prepared, with a focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the Kagoshima A5 which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.

The service was also exceptional. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations for both food and drink. Despite the restaurant being busy, we never felt rushed or neglected.

The only downside to our experience was the wait time. Pravda Cafe & Grill is a popular spot, and we had to wait a bit for a table. However, the staff kept us updated on our wait time and made sure we were comfortable while we waited.

Overall, I would highly recommend Pravda Cafe & Grill for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. The wait times may be a bit long, but in my opinion, it's a testament to how popular and well-regarded this restaurant is. I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars...
