Totally over rated. We started with ordering two drinks while looking through the menu. They immediately took away the drinks menue. We ordered the Sourdough bread with Eggplant and the Chopped Steak Tartare as starters and then Hand Cut Pappardelle and I wanted the Falafel Bowl. Turns out they don't have it any more, but forgot to tell us while handing out the menus. They have something new instead with Falafel, Tzatziki, Rocked salad and Tomatoes, I took that dish and we ask if we can have the drinks menue again. The starters were fine, but not the rest. In the mean time we need to ask for the drinks menue again - apparently they forgot. The Pappardelle are over cooked and the meat is sticky sweet and pulled, not at all like Ragu. On top there is not a single sign of green chilli, despite the fact my boyfriend order with extra chilli. And don’t get me started with my salad falafel dish. The falafel are bone dry and the tzatziki way way too sweet, like a dessert with some onions and herbs in it - just not good at all. When we got the drinks menue again (somewhere in the middle through our starters) we ordered some red wine for which we had to ask twice until we got it. So to conclude: lak of service, not really tasty food and for that...

Dinner with friends - its been a minute since we were here but we had such a great experience I’m about to gush … Our last minute booking was accommodated seamlessly via the online booking platform which set the scene for our thoroughly enjoyable evening. So enjoyable in fact, none of us grabbed even one pic of our food, so unlike us! Trust me though, the platter and a further selection of the small dishes were all delicious. Nothing massively unique about the dishes, just good food done really well. We were expertly served and tended to from the moment we arrived. Being early wasn’t an issue, and when our friends arrived, our delightful waitress (whose name I have regretfully forgotten), just quietly appeared and helped sort all our requests. It may seem like I’m OTT but this is simply credit and compliments where they are due, and the team working last night deserve it in my book, including the muso dude who graciously insisted on taking photos of our group when he saw me struggling as he arrived for his gig. If you’re thinking of booking dinner here, do it. Or socials with friends to enjoy the sport, the music, the ambience and the attentive...

Went here with my husband for a drink and dinner, we had two very different experiences. My husband had fish and chips and a beer which he said was very good, he really enjoyed his meal. The restaurant surroundings were pleasant and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately my meal was not that great. I had a vegetarian salad which was noodles in a gravy with snow peas. It was very oily so much so that I could not twist the noodles up on my fork and had to ask for a spoon to eat them. After a few mouthfuls I could not eat anymore. To their credit they did not charge me for the meal but before not charging me they offered a free glass of Chardonnay which I was drinking. I refused the wine as the one glass I had was warm and not chilled enough. I left very disappointed and hungry. One more disappointment was that on arrival we were asked if we would like some water which we said yes, we were then asked if we wanted still or sparkling so we had sparkling. We both had a small glass of the bottle but left more than half of it as then our beverages arrived. When we left we noticed that we had been charged $8.50...

Our dinner and drinks at this restaurant were really amazing! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. It’s a very busy restaurant, so obviously popular with the locals, and that is always a good sign! The menu offered many choices for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and had multiple local seafood choices, too. I had the Panko Calamari and the grilled salmon, and my wife had a Rocket Salad and a Sticky Rice bowl with salmon. All excellent choices from their menu. They have a good wine list and plenty of beer choices (on tap or bottled), and excellent cocktails. Prices are a little on the high end for local restaurants, but it was worth it! We would definitely return again for dinner or lunch (or a few drinks) and will recommend it to others

I've just copied and pasted what this person said but basically they have nailed it used to be great, perfect cooked steak, fresh salads, now these guys can't cook a steak to save their lives, salads are drenched in dressing, shame, get the old crew back in the kitchen and have a clear out these guys are ruining your business. I've been coming for years, never had problems until around 6 months ago. "Be very aware that the menu has totally changed... and it is not an improvement, if you were big fans of the old menu like we were. Salads have all but gone". 40 minutes to cook a rare steak, as you can see it must have been on the grill for 39 n half of those minutes.
