Had a very interested conversation and experience with the waitress today for lunch.
Me: What is the size of different between large and medium fried chicken?
Waitress: large is double the size of medium
Me: then what is the size of medium?
Waitress: I need to ask the kit you how many grams of the chicken(starting to give me a you ask too much face 😓😓😓)
Me: sorry, what kind of the chicken you served, nibble or cutlet?
Waitress: it is coated with flour and deep fried..
Then I give up as no questions has been efficiently answered. So I decide to go with the large one.
Couple minutes later, a waiter bring in the fried chicken
Waiter: your medium fried chicken.
Me: I ordered large
Waiter: let me check with the kitchen. (Pretending to check … with less than a minute)
Waiter: it is large…
And here is the photo of the $28 tiny ‘large fried chicken’ , but more like ‘cremated’ chicken with burned taste..
Sorry … I would say, KFC hot and spicy, you still the best …...
Read moreFirst time visiting The Roost for a DJ event and we walked up stairs to the garden bar area as it looked like a nice area for myself and my friends to sit, the manager came up not long after and said “did you ask?” We asked what sorry? She continued to say “did you ask if you could be up here” we said “no sorry it’s our first time here and there was no sign or anything so we thought it was an open area” she kept cutting us off saying things a long the line of “well no you assumed wrong, do you expect me to put a big sign up saying you can’t come up here? Are you guys wanting to leave instead”. It was very rude and not a professional way at all to handle the situation or new customers, and all agreed she could of approached us nicely to say “hey guys sorry but this area is actually out of bounds if you didn’t know” then we would have said sweet as. Would have expected a better approach as she was...
Read moreHi - thanks for the second to none service, friendly, knowledgable and prompt, however; that being said the food was not up to the standard of the service, the vegan chicken triangles were cardboardy in texture and not much better in flavour - I expected pickles and got two small slices of gherkin - which did taste great, if only there were more, and more oil and hot spice dip and forget the passionfruit sauce - it was sickly sweet. Some form of salad, even simply finely shredded lettuce or tossed mixed salad greens I am sure would be a real hit with most vegans. The men liked their meals, but didn't rave about them. The drinks were excellent and the decor, table settings and ambiance was lovely. The food could improve! Especially for the price! Otherwise, thanks for the...
