And the banana on top tasted so good I didn’t even have to use my maple syrup 😍 I was craving pancakes , I went in and was greeted straight away , told the lady’s “I’m wanting pancakes” and even though they didn’t have it on the menu Maata didn’t hesitate to make them for me , she says “I can make pancakes” 🥞😍🤩 it’s so hard to find pancakes freshly made here in Whangarei , I have now found my spot for freshly made pancakes ⭐️ Thank you! 😊

Had lunch here. So many wonderful looking choices, but enjoyed the chicken stack ( gluten free). Nice to be able to have an almond milk mocha too. Service good. Will be back to try some of the interesting breakfast combinations!

Salt is a rustic cafe in the Whangarei CBD. It is near a lot of other businesses and is a great hot spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Their coffee is AllPress and is quite nice. The atmosphere is a vibe. Love it here!

It is the most lovely experience in a Cafe I have ever experienced. They went out of their way to make it nicer than any other place by giving us a taste test of one of their slices with the coffee, and when we finished and were still chatting they brought over water with cinnamon, lemon and mint in it. I know all cafes have water but it was an unexpected, lovely surprise to have this extra...

Terrific breakfasts and a tasty paleo option for those keen. Yummy tea and coffee, and obvious care taken with the food.

Service can be a bit "we're rushed so please don't mess around" but hey, the food's great and frankly what more were you expecting? Go and enjoy!

Love the little serving bottle of hollandaise, but there's MEANT to some acidity...
